The default output plugins included with MediaMonkey may not work with some high end audio cards such as M Audio cards.
If your card supports ASIO output you can try using ASIO plugins, obtainable from: https://www.happymonkeying.com/plugin.php?q=300021
By avoiding D/A conversion, this should result in much improved sound quality as well.
NOTES
- To change plugin output channel mappings and settings for your ASIO card (Like EMU 0404 USB) and/or use SPDIF outputs only try to increase “Shift output Channels” value and/or disable “Convert 1channel to 2channels”.
