I tested it and in works, many many rewrites and improvements, more it will be heard about when MM5 gets stable and in sales.

To be honest me too. It is installed in my car head unit for quite some time and as there is no internally published new version recently some already fixed bugs are getting annoying

But on the other side MMA 2.0 UI is way better than current one. At least for my needs.

I've been using 'Musicolet' for android.
MMA is such a cartoon interface. I gave up on it a long time ago. I could never get it to move
to the next track of a playlist or album naturally. I had to manually move it along.
I couldn't figure out an 'intuitive' way to get it to set right and didn't care to figure out why
after discovering Musicolet. Settings/options were so weak/not fleshed out/left little to the imagination.

Musicolet has the minimum type of sophistication I would expect from any MM product, just
not so with MMA. Although, I haven't checked it out lately, uninstalled long ago.

That would be awesome. Poweramp did an major overview of the GUI about a year ago and now is my new favorite android music player. Maybe MMA2 can do the same? I would love to switch back to MMA2!

the MMA Section is still quite. Do you have any estimated timeframe, when Betatest for MMA2 ist starting? It sounded like there is a version for a long time just waiting for MM5 to be released.

No, they've been working on it, but it's still full in development. There is no release date set.

An update.
Re MMA 2.0: Before we release it to public, due the many rewrites it needs to go thru few internal phases in order to be classified as public Alpha/Beta.

For now things are getting steady and tests are promising on phase 1.

At this point if you care about your MMA collection organization on that device I would not suggest it
